What can I do if excessively warm weather causes charging faults?
Let the charger and adapter cool down for about 30 minutes before retrying. This is a built-in safety feature.
Can I use the Pulse Fusion at any Tesla Supercharger?
The Pulse Fusion is compatible with V3 and V4 Tesla Superchargers. It may not function at older Superchargers unless updated by Tesla. Use the Tesla app or map to confirm site compatibility.
How many Supercharger ports will be accessible with the Pulse Fusion?

Is the Pulse Fusion UL certified? Will it be certified by Tesla or OEMs?
The Pulse Fusion is UL2252 compliant. While we engage with automakers and labs like UL and ETL, Tesla does not currently guarantee third-party adapter compatibility. Contact Tesla for the latest information.
Does the Pulse Fusion provide AC or DC power?
Tesla Superchargers deliver DC power directly to the battery via the adapter. The Pulse Fusion is rated for 500A and 1,000V.
Will I be able to use the Pulse Fusion to access level 2 charging at Tesla Destination Chargers or Mobile Connectors?
No, the Vortex Plug is designed for Superchargers only. For Level 1 or Level 2 charging, use our Tesla to J1772 adapter, compatible with Tesla Wall Connectors, Destination Chargers, and Mobile Connectors.
