Why do I need a Level 2 charger?

Most portable chargers included with EVs are Level 1 chargers, which plug into a standard 120V outlet and charge much more slowly. The EVDANCE 32A Level 2 home EV charger uses 240V power to deliver faster overnight charging, making it a better choice for daily commuting, family use, and reliable home EV charging.

Is this EVDANCE charger compatible with my car?

This version uses a Tesla/NACS connector, making it suitable for Tesla and NACS-compatible EVs. If your vehicle uses a J1772 charging port, you may need the proper NACS-to-J1772 adapter or choose a J1772 version instead.

What outlet do I need?

This charger is designed for a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a properly installed dedicated circuit. For safe Level 2 home EV charging, the outlet and electrical setup should meet local electrical code requirements.

Can I install it myself?

If you already have a properly installed NEMA 14-50 outlet, this plug-in wall-mounted EV charger can be mounted and plugged in without changing your home circuit. If you need a new outlet, circuit upgrade, or are unsure about your panel capacity, consult a licensed electrician.
