The wall outlet, input plug, and plug-to-socket connection are not waterproof. Keep all electrical connections dry and follow the installation, storage, and operating instructions for the selected model.
Native SAE J1772 Compatibility
The native SAE J1772 connector plugs directly into compatible electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids from manufacturers such as Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and others.
Tesla and other NACS-equipped vehicles require a compatible J1772-to-NACS adapter, sold separately. Vehicle compatibility and maximum charging speed depend on the charging inlet, onboard charger, adapter rating, and selected charger model.
Use the charger only with a properly installed, grounded, and dedicated circuit that supports the selected charging current. Have the outlet and electrical system inspected by a licensed electrician when necessary.
